Triple H: 2022 Biography, Net Worth, Family, Income
Triple H was born Paul Levesque in Nashua, New Hampshire, on July 27, 1969. Levesque is a retired professional wrestler, and current Chief Content Officer for WWE.
Widely regarded as one of the biggest stars of his generation, he is one of the most accomplished and highly decorated wrestlers in company history. A multi-time World Champion, game-changing faction leader and one of the most influential people in the business, Triple H already has a near unprecedented legacy.
After training under Killer Kowalski, he debuted in 1992 as Terra Ryzing in the veteran’s IWF promotion. He signed with WWE three years later after a short stint in WCW. Once in WWE, he rose through the mid-card before becoming Intercontinental Champion and subsequently King of the Ring. Not that his rise always smooth sailing. The star was involved in the infamous ‘Curtain Call’ at Madison Square Garden in 1996, and immediate plans for a push were dropped.
However, by the time he and Chyna joined forces with Shawn Michaels as Degeneration-X his popularity sky-rocketed.
The raucous trio were a massive hit with the fans but it was when he took charge of the group after Michaels’ departure that took his career hit even loftier heights. As the leader of the new DX, he entered the main event scene challenging for the World Championship. He would remain at the top of the company for the rest of his career winning the top prize a total of 14 times and leading other influential factions, such as Evolution and The Authority.
Triple H has also gone on to become equally successful out of the ring. As part of WWE’s management structure for a number of years he held the titles of Executive Senior Advisor, Executive Vice President, of Talent and Live Events and was the founder and Executive Producer of NXT.
The Game formally retired from in-ring competition in 2022, although his full-time wrestling career ended a decade earlier. Following the retirement of Vince McMahon, Triple H assumed creative control of the company before being made Chief Content Officer.
