Kurt Angle Feels Adam Copeland's AEW Switch Is

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has spoken out about being proven wrong by Adam Copeland’s, formerly known as Edge, debut in AEW.

Angle had previously predicted that Adam Copeland would be a WWE lifer and would not head over to AEW. However, on the latest episode of his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, Angle has praised Copeland’s move to AEW. He believes that this is good for wrestling and wrestling fans everywhere because Copeland will now have a host of fresh matches to partake in, which will be good for his career as well. Angle said:

It’s good when guys cross over because Edge, there are a lot of guys he hasn’t faced in AEW. Guys like Samoa Joe or Sting, MJF, and a lot of great wrestlers. This is really good for the fans because they’re gonna see new matchups, new faces, they’re gonna see Edge face these different competitors, and they’re going to be different matches, they’re going to have a different flavour. I think it’s really good. I think it’s good for wrestling. I think it’s good for Edge.

Angle also spoke about the potential for a five-star match between Copeland and Kenny Omega, which he believes will be “priceless.” While Angle did not foresee Copeland’s move to AEW, he now sees this as a positive step for both Copeland’s career and for wrestling as a whole. With fresh matchups and new faces, wrestling fans can expect to see some exciting matches in the future.

When Will Adam Copeland Debut In-Ring For AEW?
