Adam Copeland Gives His Thoughts On Who Has The Best Spear In Wrestling

Adam Copeland has revealed who he thinks gives the best spear in wrestling, albeit on a technicality.

One of the most impactful finishers in wrestling and a move that just about any wrestler can hit on any opponent, the spear has been used by many performers throughout the years. Current and future Hall of Famers such as Goldberg, Roman Reigns and even Copeland himself have won multiple matches and championships with the devastating manoeuvre. With so many great spears to choose from, who deserves the accolade of the best?

Speaking with Hey! (EW), The Rated R Superstar was asked to name the star who he thinks does it better than anyone else. The Hall of Famer picked none other than ECW legend Rhino as his pick. However, host RJ City did question the choice as The Man Beast’s finisher is technically a Gore:

Adam Copeland: I’m going to go with Rhino.

RJ City: Okay, really nice.

Copeland: And it’s a Gore.

RJ City: Okay, so then it’s not a Spear.

Copeland: But isn’t it?

RJ City: No, it’s a Gore.

Copeland: But isn’t it?

RJ City: No, it’s not. It’s a Gore.

Copeland: A snapmare is a snapmare, is all I’m saying.

RJ City: If it was a Goremare, it would be a Goremare.

Copeland:… There’s no such thing as a Goremare.

When many fans think of Rhino their mind instantly goes back to 2001 when the former ECW Champion Gored Chris Jericho through the set of SmackDown.

As seen on AEW Dynamite, Adam Copeland will challenge for his first championship in the promotion.
