Adam Copeland To Challenge For AEW Championship On 6/12 Dynamite

Adam Copeland looks to take away what means the most to Christian Cage.

Ever since Copeland shockingly arrived in All Elite Wrestling back in October, The Rated R Superstar made it clear that he wanted to reunite with Cage and reform the awesome tag team one last time before retiring on his terms. Cage, who feels that he is doing fine without his longtime friend, told Copeland “Go f*ck yourself” in response. Copeland would target Cage and those around him in the following weeks and demanded a shot at the tile on the November 25th episode of Collision.

As seen on the November 29th episode of Dynamite, Cage, who was flanked by security, invited Copeland to the ring to issue a response. When the Hall of Famer arrived, the TNT Champion ushered security out of the ring, leaving both men in the ring alone.

Cage apologised to Copeland and humorously called Killswitch by his former name before recalling tails from their childhood. Trying to empathise with Copeland, Cage brought up the fact that Copeland didn’t have a father to the shock of the live crowd. In a desperate attempt to call off the title match, Cage told Copeland he loved him and brought up Copeland’s late mother. With the pleading over, Copeland gave his answer, hitting a low blow onto the TNT Champion and told Cage the title match is still on, ending with the line “Go f*ck yourself.”

Looking to win the match with his trademark spear, Adam Copeland recently revealed who has the best spear in wrestling.
