Samoa Joe vs CM Punk Made Official For AEW All In

CM Punk and Samoa Joe shake hands

CM Punk forcibly accepted Samoa Joe’s challenge for All In on the latest episode of Collision.

On the August 5th episode of the show, the ROH TV Champion made a statement by defeating Serpentico in under 10 seconds.

Following the shortest match in Collision history, he picked up a microphone and addressed his loss to Punk during the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, in that bout the Second City Saint defeated his arch-rival for the first time, but only barely.

Joe said that win, which came via roll-up, wasn’t good enough for the pair’s history and legacy before issuing a challenge for a rematch at the biggest event in wrestling history, All In at Wembley Stadium.

The Samoan Submission Machine wasn’t finished there. The following week, Punk teamed up with FTR to challenge the House of Black for the Trios Championships, only for Joe to drag the Second City Saint out of the match, choking him out on the floor.

CM Punk responds to Samoa Joe’s AEW All In challenge

On the latest edition of Collision, Joe came out for a scheduled match against ‘The Golden Vampire’. However, the mysterious masked man blindsided him and finished him off with a GTS before revealing he was CM Punk all along.

After knocking Joe out, Punk picked up a microphone and accepted the challenge before exiting the arena. AEW later made the match official and confirmed it would be for Punk’s ‘Real’ World Championship.

“I accept bitch!”
