“CM Punk Has Been Nothing But Kind To Me” – Adam Cole

CM Punk Has

Adam Cole believes CM Punk in AEW can only be a good thing.

CM Punk has been a polarising figure in All Elite Wrestling since signing with the company in August 2021. While he’s been involved in a number of memorable moments on-screen and his return will stand as one of the great moments in company — and likely wrestling — history, his tenure with the promotion hasn’t come without controversy.

Punk spectacularly fell out with Hangman Adam Page and has found himself at odds with Colt Cabana. Things came to a head in the hours after All Out in September 2022 when Punk went on a tirade against The Elite in the post-show press conference and later got into a brawl with Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks backstage. Even while away from the company in early 2023, he called out Chris Jericho on social media.

It had been reported that Jericho called Punk a “cancer” in the moments after the chaos at All Out.

However, Adam Cole — who has close ties to The Elite — has stated he’s got no issues with Punk. Speaking on the Pro Wrestling Illustrated podcast, Cole said the star has been nothing but kind to him.

“I’ve had a few interactions with him, and he has always been nothing but kind to me. Obviously, when he first came to AEW, it was a big deal for us and brought a lot of eyes and attention on the company. AEW has been on this crazy uphill swing for the past few years since I’ve arrived and that’s pretty cool,”

Who Is CM Punk Wrestling At AEW All In?

Both CM Punk and Adam Cole will be in action at All In and in the case of the latter, more than once. Cole is due to team with MJF to take on Aussie Open on the per-show as the pair bid to win the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Titles.

However, Cole will face a very different challenge in the main event as he takes on his friend with the AEW World Title on the line.

Meanwhile, CM Punk and Samoa Joe will write another chapter into their rivalry which stretches back well over 15 years.
