AEW All In Surpasses WWE Paid Attendance Record

AEW All In Days Away From Becoming The Biggest Wrestling Event Of All Time

All Elite Wrestling’s All In has now broken the all-time paid attendance record for a professional wrestling event.

According to WrestleTix, the company has now sold 80,846 tickets for All In at Wembley Stadium in London with over a week still to go before the event. This beats the record previously set by WWE in 2016 when 85,709 fans flocked to the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas for WrestleMania 32.

While the event is now the highest-paid attendance for a wrestling event of all time, it doesn’t hold the highest attendance itself. That accolade goes to WCW/NJPW’s Collision in Korea event which took place in Pyongyang, North Korea, in 1995 and was reported to have a staggering 165,000 people in attendance.

The show will be headlined by Adam Cole challenging his best friend MJF for the World Championship. Not content with match, however, the pair will also affirm their friendship by challenging Aussie Open for the ROH Tag Team Titles on the Zero Hour pre-show.

Elsewhere, Hikaru Shida defends the World Women’s Championship against Toni Storm, Saraya, and Britt Baker, while Will Ospreay will go one-on-one with Chris Jericho and The Golden Elite are set to face Bullet Club Gold.

One match that is currently uncertain is the rubber match between FTR and The Young Bucks for the Tag Team Championships. On August 18th, Cash Wheeler was arrested on aggravated assault charges, putting the match in jeopardy.

There should be clarity on the situation following the August 18th edition of Collision as we are set to hear from FTR on the show.

In recent news, Chris Jericho is set for a huge match at the upcoming AEW Grand Slam.
