International WrestleMania Only A “Matter Of Time” According To Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair is optimistic about WrestleMania going worldwide.

In a new conversation with Denise Salcedo, the now two-time WWE Women’s Champion talked about the international viability of the the “grand daddy of them all” going global.

“I think it’s only a matter of time.”

Belair is no stranger to the electricity of an international audience. She and the now Women’s Champ Iyo Sky kicked off WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico to an extremely hot crowd that made it one of the most memorable fights on the card.

Bianca Belair On International Crowds: “They’re Invested”

With the success of shows like Backlash and Clash At The Castle, Belair sees the potential for a WrestleMania to be somewhere else other than the United States. With John Cena saying just as much to the U.K. crowd at Money In The Bank, Belair knows such energy can be there for WWE’s biggest PLE overseas.

“We don’t get to go there a lot so they don’t get to see us a lot. The international crowds are some of the best crowds ever, I mean they’re so excited to see us, they’re invested, they’re loud, and it’s great because it shows you how global WWE is. We can go to other countries and people know exactly who they are and they want us there, you know?”

Although not international, “The EST” along with Asuka and Charlotte Flair put on a memorable fight for Detroit at SummerSlam where a “bum knee” Belair recaptured her gold, only briefly before Iyo Sky cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase. In a recent interview, Belair reacted to losing the title so quickly.
