Saraya To Defend Women’s Title At AEW Grand Slam

Saraya wins AEW Women's World Title

At Grand Slam, Saraya will defend her AEW Women’s Title for the first time.

Toni Storm will look to win the Women’s Championship for a third time after booking a shot at Saraya in New York. Storm earned her championship opportunity with a win in a Four-Way Eliminator on Dynamite also involving Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Nyla Rose.

The star grabbed the win after rolling up Baker.

Saraya and Storm had been part of the Outcasts until the British star won the Women’s Title at All In. You can find the updated card for Dymamite Grand Slam below.

Saraya Sets Sights On Huge Inter-Promotional Match-Up

In recent days, Saraya and IMPACT Knockouts Champion Trinity have been trading gentle jabs on social media. This led to Saraya telling Trinity to “stop by” AEW, seemingly hinting at an inter-promotional match between the pair.

There’s also been talk of the AEW star clashing with Mercedes Mone when she finally makes her debut with the promotion following recovery from an ankle injury. It’s been reported that Mone could have started appearing in AEW back in July had she not been injured.
