Another Championship Match Announced For AEW All In

AEW All In

The AEW Women’s World Championship will be on the line at AEW All In.

On the August 9th episode of Dynamite, it was announced that the gold will be up for grabs in a Four-Way Match. So far, two participants have been confirmed with Toni Storm getting a bye.

On the show, Shida defended the Women’s Title against Anna Jay, and with a victory made sure she’d be defending her title in the match.

Elsewhere, Saraya will take on Skye Blue on the August 11th episode of Rampage, while Britt Baker will meet The Bunny on August 16th on Dynamite. The announcement comes after it was reported that The Bunny is nearing a return to action following an injury.

The title match joins FTR vs. The Young Bucks, Sting & Darby Allin vs. AR Fox & Swerve Strickland, and Aussie Open vs. Adam Cole & MJF in being added to the card. It had already been announced MJF will defend the World Championship against Cole at Wembley Stadium.

When Did Hikaru Shida Win The AEW Women’s World Championship?

Hikaru Shida won the AEW Women’s Championship on August 2nd, with a win over Toni Storm. As Storm had only recently lost the title, she activated a rematch clause to endure a bye into the match in London.

Shida has a significant history with the championship, with her first reign still being the longest in the title’s history, lasting 372.

In an update, it is being reported that Shida looks set to lose the championship at the Wembley Stadium show.
