Update On The Bunny’s AEW Status

The Bunny Allie

The Bunny has been off of AEW television for a bit, but that could change soon.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, the AEW women’s star is set to make an in-ring return in the near future. The Bunny has been on the shelf following a harsh injury during an Eliminator match for AEW Women’s Title against then-champion Jamie Hayter. She unfortunately broke her orbital bone and she’s been away from any in-ring action (or television time) since the fight in February.

Although she hasn’t accompanied The Butcher & The Blade to the ring, she has been at AEW tapings as of recent, which is a good sign. Additionally, she has been making meet and greet appearances for Smash Wrestling and according to Fightful, that’s where the word has gotten out to colleagues about a return to the canvas. The Butcher also made mention that The Bunny is nearing a return to the ring.

The Bunny Is A True Blue AEW Veteran

The Bunny has been a presence in AEW near since the inception of the company. While always aligned with The Butcher and The Blade, The Bunny has been diverse in her activity as she memorably tagged with Penelope Ford in a New Year’s Smash street fight against Tay Conti and Anna Jay. Alongside the lights out match between Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker, that bout is arguably the most violent women’s match that AEW has put on.

The Bunny happened to be one of the polarizing names mentioned by LuFisto who made claims that the AEW women’s locker room was toxic, but a great deal of name stars in and outside of AEW came to the company’s defense.

In recent news, The Bunny has parted ways with AEW.
