Dana White Fires Back At “Crock Of Sh*t” Reports About Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey will not be returning to UFC according to Dana White.

In the lead-up to her match with Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam, it was reported that Rousey would be taking a break from WWE. This was followed by claims after the loss to her real-life close friend that she might be done with WWE altogether. While there has been no official comment from WWE or Rousey, it’s believed there are no plans for her to return, at least in the near future.

This in turn sparked speculation that she could be plotting a return to UFC. This included a report from the Daily Mail which quoted someone close to Rousey suggesting she was aiming to make her comeback at UFC 300.

However, UFC boss Dana White has now dismissed these claims for a second time, after previously stating there was “not a shot” Ronda Rousey would be back in the octagon.

Speaking to Aaron Bronsteter of TSN Sports, White told fans to stop giving credence to “crock of sh*t” reports from the likes of the Daily Mail.

“Stop reading the Daily Mail, everything that they write is a crock of sh*t Ronda’s having kids! Ronda built this whole thing that’s going on with the women here, then her dream was to go to the WWE, she went there and did everything that she did there and achieved, she’s made sh*tloads of money. She’s moved on with her life,”

Ronda Rousey has since all but confirmed that she’s retired. In regards to Dana White, the TKO Executive has commented on what it is like having Vince McMahon as a business partner.

When Did Ronda Rousey Leave UFC?

After winning an Olympic bronze medal in judo, Ronda Rousey began her mixed martial arts journey in 2010, before becoming the first woman signed by UFC in late 2012. She went on to become the most famous female combat athlete in the world, winning the Bantamweight Championship in the process.

Despite her success, Rousey’s UFC run came to a stunning end in 2016 following losses to Amanda Nunes and Holly Holm.
