CM Punk Set To Feud With Roman Reigns… But Not Just Yet

CM Punk Roman Reigns

CM Punk is set for a rivalry with Roman Reigns, but not before he takes care of Seth Rollins.

Punk is no stranger to making waves in the world of professional wrestling, and at Survivor Series on November 25th, he made a shocking return to WWE for the first time since his acrimonious exit in 2014.

While he didn’t speak during his return in his hometown of Chicago, he addressed the Nashville crowd on the November 27th episode of Monday Night Raw, firmly declaring that he was “home.”

According to a new report from Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Punk’s contract extends beyond the upcoming WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, PA, and fans are naturally wondering what role the star will play on the Grandest Stage of Them All. While there’s no confirmation of plans for Punk at ‘Mania itself, information has come to light as to some of WWE’s future plans for him.

CM Punk Headed For A Feud With Seth Rollins Before He Gets To Reigns

The Sports Illustrated report notes that there are future plans in place for Punk to feud with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, but not before he takes on World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. Rollins appeared visually upset at Punk’s Survivor Series return, though this is reportedly an angle to begin a feud between the two men.

In the past, Seth Rollins has been openly critical of Punk, and during his address on Raw, Punk mentioned that “not everyone” was happy to see him back.

In a new update, a top WWE star has expressed concern over delaying a feud between Roman Reigns and CM Punk.
