Jake Roberts Begins Building An Army On AEW Collision

Jake Roberts

Jake Roberts took on some new clients on AEW Collision.

Since becoming All Elite in 2020, Roberts has been acting as the manager of The Murderhawk Monster, Lance Archer. After a three-month absence, Archer returned to the company on the October 18th edition of Dynamite and made short work of Barrett Brown.

Then, on November 4th, the star made his Collision debut, taking on Darby Allin. Allin was able to overcome Archer with a huge Code Red from the top rope for the pinfall win. However, that wasn’t the end of things as Roberts came back out to the stage, saying that he never came to a fight with one piece of artillery.

With that, he introduced his new clients, Vincent and Dutch of The Righteous. Roberts said they know how to get the job done before telling Allin to “get ready to go right straight to hell” while Kevin Kelly proclaimed that Roberts was “building an army.”

The distraction allowed Archer to come back in and attack Allin from behind, laying him out with Blackout in the middle of the ring.

Collision also saw AEW announce details of when Winter Is Coming 2023 will take place, whether Roberts and his new faction will be involved in the show remains to be seen.

Who will Jake Roberts and The Righteous target in AEW?

With Roberts and his clients laying waste to Darby Allin, and Vincent referencing one of Sting‘s catchphrases by saying “It’s showtime” during his introduction, many fans have speculated that they will be the first targets for the new faction.

Sting and Darby Allin are set to team up with Adam Copeland for a trios match against Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne at Full Gear.

Sting has made his intention to retire at Revolution 2024 well-known, so there is time for more rivalries and matches to take place after he gets some revenge on Cage and his allies.
