AEW Winter Is Coming

AEW has revealed when and where Winter Is Coming will be held in 2023.

Winter Is Coming has been a staple of the AEW calendar since the first special edition of Dynamite was held in December 2020. That show saw Kenny Omega align himself with Don Callis and defeat Jon Moxley to capture the AEW World Championship, kicking off a reign that lasted for 346 days. Recently, MJF shattered Omega’s record with his own reign, which is now heading towards a full year.

The show also saw the debut of Sting, who helped Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin fend off Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks before announcing he had signed a multi-year deal with the company. this marked the Icon’s return to TNT for the first time since facing Ric Flair on the final episode of WCW Nitro back in 2001.

2021 saw Hangman Adam Page defend the AEW World title against Bryan Danielson in an epic bout that went to a 60-minute time limit draw, while 2022 was headlined by MJF successfully defending both the World Title and Dynamite Diamond Ring against Ricky Starks.

AEW Winter Is Coming 2023 will take place in Texas

During the November 4th episode of Collision, it was announced that Winter Is Coming will take place on the December 13th edition of Dynamite. It will be held at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. Tickets for the show can be purchased on the AEW website. So far, no matches have been set for the event.

Collision also saw Jake Roberts adding new clients to his roster,
