FTR To Make First Appearance Since Cash Wheeler’s Arrest

Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler - FTR

Cash Wheeler’s arrest seemed to throw FTR’s match against The Young Bucks at All In in doubt.

Wheeler turned himself in to the police on August 18th following news that he had been charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.

The charge stems from an alleged road rage incident on July 27th with another party. The alleged victim claims they saw Wheeler weaving in and out of traffic and when they moved to the side, as he passed he pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at them through the driver’s side window with a strong stare.

After the incident, an arrest warrant was issued on July 28th and Wheeler pled not guilty on August 3rd. At his arraignment on August 18th, Wheeler was released on a $2,500 bond and is to have no contact with the victim or witnesses as well as handing in any weapons he owns pending the outcome of the case.

While he has not been ordered to surrender his passport, the charge against Wheeler has led to many wondering if the highly-anticipated rubber match between FTR and The Young Bucks will go ahead at Wembley Stadium.

Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood will appear on AEW Collision

It seems that we could get an answer to that question on the August 19th edition of Collision as AEW announced on the Control Center that we will hear from both Wheeler and his FTR partner Dax Harwood on the show.

The full line-up for the special Fight For The Fallen edition of the show so far is as follows:

  • Darby Allin vs. Christian Cage
  • Willow Nightingale vs. Diamante
  • Powerhouse Hobbs will be in action
  • Ricky Starks addresses his comments from last week
  • We’ll hear from FTR
  • We’ll hear from Miro

Despite FTR being victorious at All In, Matt Jackson believes their rivalry will continue.
