Chris Jericho gave his thoughts on those who’ve transitioned from WWE to the silver screen.
Former AEW World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho is no stranger to taking on acting parts, having roles in such films as Terrifyer 2, MacGruber, and Sharknado 3. He also starred in a limited series called But I’m Chris Jericho, a heavily fictionalized comedy series about being a washed up actor.
While Jericho hasn’t found his way to superstardom in Hollywood, many former WWE stars have successfully made the transition to stardom on the silver screen. Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson is the most successful of all, becoming the highest paid actor in Hollywood.
Meanwhile, Dave Bautista has found great success in the Marvel franchise as Drax the Destroyer and has also impressed in films such as Knock at the Cabin and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.John Cena has also found himself a leading man in Hollywood, starring in the highly-acclaimed series Peacemaker as well as starring in films such as Vacation Friends and the Fast and Furious franchise.
Chris Jericho Ranks Dave Bautista As The Best Actor To Come Out Of WWE
Speaking on First We Feast’s Truth or Dab, Jericho was asked to rank the WWE stars who’ve made the transition to Hollywood, revealing who he believes is the best. He had this to say:
“I would say the best actor of all of them is Batista. I think his work and his diversity from what I have seen, I think he is the best actual actor. And then I’ll put Dwayne Johnson, Cena and then Hogan after that. Although Santa With Muscles, chef’s kiss.”
Former AEW star Fuego Del Sol recently opened up about Chris Jericho’s influence on his AEW signing as well as his career.
