Mercedes Mone Hints At Next AEW Appearance

Mercedes Mone in NJPW

Mercedes Mone has teased that a future AEW appearance might be on the cards.

While Mercedes Mone was seen in the crowd at Wembley Stadium for All In, the former IWGP Women’s Champion has yet to make a grand entrance in All Elite Wrestling. However, that looks to change if there are no prior commitments.

Speaking on an Instagram livestream, Mone was asked if she would be making an appearance at the Kia Forum in Inglewood for Full Gear. With no one in the room sure of when the date of the upcoming pay-per-view is, Mone stated if no other appearances are scheduled for that date then it would definitely be a possibility:

“When is that? I don’t know, I’ve got to ask my friend. A little A-E-Dub, it’s coming here to LA, I guess. Sure, if I’m free. I gotta see, I gotta check the schedule, I know we’re really busy. We’re doing a lot of things. Travelling a lot.”

The upcoming pay-per-view will take place on Saturday, November 18th. The first match for Full Gear has been made official, which will see MJF defend the World Championship.

Mercedes Mone Recovering From Injury

Mone has been out of action since May following an ankle injury that took place at the Resurgence pay-per-view where Willow Nightingale would become the first-ever Strong Women’s Champion. There is currently no timetable of return for Mone as no future appearances have been announced.

The New Japan star is very firmly on AEW’s radar as Tony Khan has mentioned that he is “Really interested” in working with Mercedes Mone.
