Huge Name Ruled Out As AEW Full Gear Mystery Signing

Tony Khan Confirms Plans For AEW Full Gear

According to a new report, fans shouldn’t expect to see Mercedes Mone sign a contract at AEW Full Gear.

AEW President Tony Khan loves to make blockbuster announcements, and taking to social media ahead of the November 15th episode of Dynamite, he dropped the news that a massive contract signing is planned for the upcoming pay-per-view on November 18th.

“AEW has agreed to terms with one of the world’s best wrestlers, a pro who is known + respected by virtually every @AEW fan! They’ll come to LA to sign their contract THIS SATURDAY 11/18 on ppv at #AEWFullGear! See you TONIGHT on TBS for the final #AEWDynamite before Full Gear!”

Will Mercedes Mone Debut At AEW Full Gear?

After Khan’s announcement, many fans online speculate that the signing could be none other than Mercedes Mone, who has long been rumored to be joining the company when she’s healed from injury. In fact, one report indicated that Mercedes Mone likely would have made her AEW debut at Blood and Guts back in July had she not been injured as the show took place in her home town of Boston.

However, according to a new report from Fightful Select, there are no plans in place for Mone to be the mystery signing in question. Several sources within the company confirmed this news to Fightful.

Continuing, the report notes that Tony Khan has been open about the fact that Mone is still healing from injury, and she has been kept away from AEW television since her appearance All In while she heals. Her boot was kept out of sight when she was shown at All In.

According to the report, she is now out of her boot, and there are still plans for her to work with AEW in the future, though there is no indication as to when that is expected to happen.
