Prior to Jericho’s appearance, the main event of the show saw Viva Van defending the PCW Ultra Women’s Championship against Sumuie Sakai. This was the first time a women’s bout had headlined a card in the country.

Van later revealed on social media that Jericho inducted both women into the VPW Hall of Fame.

Jericho’s appearance wasn’t as random as it first appeared. The star recently interviewed the founder of the promotion, Rocky Huynh, on Talk Is Jericho, where the promoter explained how the company grew from wrestling on mats with no ring, to putting on full live shows.

Will Chris Jericho Team With Paul Wight Again?

Chris Jericho has addressed the possibility of teaming up with Paul Wight again following the Like A Gaiden Street Fight on the November 15th edition of AEW Dynamite.

There, Jericho, Wight, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi scored a big win over Konosuke Takeshita, Brian Cage, Kyle Fletcher, and Powerhouse Hobbs, representing the Don Callis Family. Unfortunately, the victory came at a price as Hobbs slammed Wight onto the hood of a car before he could even reach the ring.

When it comes to whether he will recruit Wight again, Jericho believes it was a “one shot thing” as the World’s Largest Athlete has other things he wants to do.

In a new interview, Chris Jericho stated that those in AEW would benefit greatly by working closely with Vince McMahon.
