This week’s WWE SmackDown saw Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair team up against Damage CTRL in the main event.

It was SmackDown at the Allstate Arena in Chicago with Michael Cole & Kevin Patrick on commentary with Cory Graves, who is back after two weeks due to having a baby with Carmella. This episode aired on FS1 in the US due to college football on FOX.

The foursome of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair & Shotzi did an in-ring promo talking about their WarGames match against Damage CTRL. Lynch said she agreed to team with them because she couldn’t stand Damage CTRL and wanted to be in WarGames. Bayley interrupted to question Lynch & Flair teaming together since they don’t like eachother. Lynch was sick of hearing Bayley talk so Lynch suggested a tag team match with Charlotte against two Damage CTRL members. Bayley accepted the offer.

Match #1: The Judgment Day – Damian Priest & Finn Balor defeated The Street Profits – Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles. Rhea Ripley distracted Ford when he went up top. Priest hit a powerslam and Balor hit his Coup de Grace foot stomp for the win.

Grayson Waller was hosting his Grayson Waller Effect talk show with Austin Theory imitating Kevin Owens as the guest. Owens interrupted, they argued and mentioned Waller losing to LA Knight recently. That brought out LA Knight to insult Waller & Theory, which led to WWE setting up a tag team match.

Match #2: Kevin Owens & LA Knight defeated Grayson Waller & Austin Theory by pinfall. Knight won with the BFT.

Carlito was in the ring doing a promo saying that Santos Escobar made a very big mistake when he took out Rey Mysterio. Santos Escobar interrupted saying Rey was always his family and the LWO was his family. Escobar said if it wasn’t for an outsider like Carlito then the family would still be together. Carlito and Escobar got into a fight around ringside. Carlito was in control when WWE Officials arrived to break it up. It looked like Escobar had left, but instead, Escobar jumped off the barricade with a jumping knee attack to the right shoulder/arm of Carlito. Carlito sold it like he was injured.

After a break, Santos Escobar attacked Carlito again and tried to break Carlito’s arm. Dragon Lee saved Carlito from the attack.

Match #3: Pretty Deadly – Elton Prince & Kit Wilson defeated The Brawling Brutes – Butch & Ridge Holland. Butch had to fight alone because Ridge walked out on the match since Butch accidentally kicked Ridge in a tag team match last week. Butch fought both guys alone, but Wilson made a blind tag and did a crucifix pin on Butch to win.

Nick Aldis, the Smackdown General Manager, was interviewed backstage saying Carlito is hurt and can’t compete at Survivor Series. Aldis was going to postpone the Santos Escobar match, but Dragon Lee walked in saying he wanted the match with Escobar. Aldis gave Lee the match: Santos Escobar vs. Dragon Lee is official for Survivor Series.

Match #4: Bayley & Asuka defeated Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch by pinfall. Lynch had the match won when she hit Bayley with a Manhandle Slam. However, Flair took out Asuka with a Spear that saw the Spear break up the pin attempt. Lynch argued with Flair about it. Bayley got back up and rolled up Lynch for the pinfall win. Lynch had a busted lip during the match.

After the match, Lynch and Flair argued about what happened while Belair and Shotzi tried to prevent them from fighting. Lynch walked away on her own to end the show.
