WWE Survivor Series 2023 Sells Out

WWE Survivor Series 2023 Sells Out

There are no tickets available for purchase for Survivor Series.

As reported by social media account WrestleTix, 0 tickets are listed as available for the Premium Live Event in Chicago, with fans only able to attend if they purchase a combo ticket that also includes SmackDown the night before. It is stated that the venue is set up for 12,943 and 12,928 tickets have been distributed, meaning that 15 people are able to buy combo tickets for the event.

It should be noted that the Allstate Arena lists its capacity as 18,500, which is more than 5,000 more seats than the capacity set up for Survivor Series. However, there are two reasons why so many seats have been held back. The first is that a significant area of the arena will be needed to set up staging.

Secondly, while not officially announced, it is being heavily rumoured that WarGames has been planned for Survivor Series. This means that many floor seats will be unavailable to set up a second ring for the stipulation match. Currently, the seat map for the Allstate Arena only shows one ring in place.

In recent news, it has been confirmed that a SmackDown vs. Raw War Games match will not take place at WWE Survivor Series.

WWE Set To Host 37th Survivor Series

One of the longest-running big shows in the company’s calendar, Survivor Series has been the location for the debuts of some of the biggest stars in wrestling history, with 1990 seeing the debut of The Undertaker and 1996 seeing the debut of The Rock.

With elimination matches being a staple of the event, brand supremacy has been a frequent theme used throughout the years with multiple Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown matches seen ever since the brand split took effect. In 2019, brand supremacy went one step further as NXT was also a part of the show, winning bragging rights over the main roster when all was said and done.

Although WarGames looks set to return for a second year, WWE plans have been said to have changed for the match.
