Declan Rice is known for his incredible footballing ability, charismatic personality and surprising love of wrestling.

Back in 2021 TNTSports, formerly BT Sports, gave then West Ham star Declan Rice a replica WWE Championship after Rice had spoken multiple times about his love of wrestling.

Since then Rice has found himself regularly talking about WWE during interviews including an interview with Gary Neville back in 2022 during which Declan Rice would reveal what his theme song would be if he became a professional wrestler.

Now, in a new interview with the Premier League, Arsenal’s £100,000,000 man has revealed his three favourite wrestlers of all time.

Declan Rice would comment on his love for wrestling before naming a returning WWE star and three AEW talents as his favourite wrestlers.

Randy Orton was one of my favourites as a kid…Edge, The Hardy Brothers, they were ledge as well.”

Why Does Declan Rice Love Randy Orton?

During the interview Rice would also reveal how his love for ‘The Viper’ came to be:

“I just remember as a kid playing SmackDown vs Raw 2007, what a game that was. Legendary game.

Arsenal have a strong link with professional wrestling at current with the squad regularly entering games to the sounds of WWE Superstars including recently the late, great Bray Wyatt.

Declan Rice would have loved Survivor Series 2023 as Randy Orton made his long awaited WWE return after over a year out with a career-threatening injury.

Orton was a part of the show’s main event, teaming with Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso and former protégé Cody Rhodes to take on The Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre.

The main event will best be remembered however for the shock WWE return of CM Punk in the final moments of the show.
