Saraya Likes Tweet Criticising Booking Of The Outcasts

AEW Toni Storm wins women's championship

Saraya is apparently not happy with how The Outcasts are being treated in AEW.

After turning heel, Saraya aligned with Toni Storm and eventually Ruby Soho. The trio became known as The Outcasts and waged war on the ‘AEW originals’ in the women’s locker room.

As the storyline progressed it appeared that this would result in the first-ever women’s Blood & Guts match. However, Jamie Hayter was forced to take some time off due to injury, and Tony Khan claimed a match “wasn’t feasible.”

Although the British star wasn’t involved directly, she and the rest of the women’s division were thrown into the spotlight during the July 26th episode of Dynamite. On the show, Britt Baker took on Taya Valkyrie and a sign reading “Book the women’s division better” was shown on television.

Posting on social media regarding the status of the AEW women’s division, Ibou of Wrestle Purists, said that it seems Baker has cooled off and might not become the megastar many envisioned. He added that The Outcasts “kinda feel like a waste of time” as the storyline hasn’t really gone anywhere.

Interestingly, this Tweet was liked by Saraya, although she didn’t add a comment.

“Kinda feels like the Outcasts story was a big waste of time. Obviously there’s no controlling the Hayter injury but we didn’t get Blood and Guts out of it, the whole surrounding division paused and it feels like very little was accomplished broadly in the first half of the year.”

When Did Saraya Join AEW?

While Saraya is best known for her work in WWE as Paige, the star’s contract with the sports entertainment giant was allowed to expire in July 2022. While the star remained quiet on her future, she finally joined AEW the following September, debuting at Grand Slam.

Despite her in-ring career seemingly being over due to two serious neck injuries, Saraya was back in action at Full Gear where she defeated Baker.
