“Grow Up” – Taya Valkyrie Hits Back At Trolls Following AEW Dynamite Botch

Taya Valkyrie

Taya Valkyrie has come out fighting after being targeted online following AEW Dynamite.

On the July 26th episode of Dynamite, Valkyrie took on Britt Baker as looked to get back into the Women’s World Title picture. As the match got going everything went as planned, but when Valkyrie went to hit the Road To Valhalla, things fell apart.

With Baker almost in position to take the move, both women kind of fell to the floor, Baker almost taking the move in a very awkward sequence. This led to loud boos from the crowd and many were even more unforgiven on social media.

In the end, Baker picked up the win after wrapping her rival up in the Lock Jaw.

However, it seemed that some fans were more concerned with the botch earlier, and making sure Valkyrie knew it. In the hours after the show, the star hit back on social media, telling the trolls to grow up.

Taya Valkyrie Wore A Mask To Sneak Into AEW

After starring for AAA, IMPACT Wrestling, and Lucha Underground among others, Valkyrie signed with WWE in 2021. However, her run with the sports entertainment giant never really got off the ground, and the star was released just nine months after joining the company.

From here, Valkyrie returned to IMPACT and made appearances for MLW, NWA, and others before landing in AEW in April 2023. Speaking after her debut, Valkyrie revealed that she had to sneak into the arena in a mask so her appearance opposite across from Jade Cargill would be kept a secret.
