Top WWE Star Signs Massive New Contract; Includes Unique Perk

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair exchange words in the ring on WWE SmackDown

Charlotte Flair is set to be one of the highest-paid women in WWE history.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Flair recently agreed to a new contract extension with the sports entertainment giant. The deal is said to keep her in the company for a number of years to come. The report notes that Madusa recently mentioned Flair’s new deal on her podcast, and it took some time for those within the company to hear the same information that Madusa had.

Fightful Select notes that Flair’s extension is actually the first to be done since the company was merged into TKO. Recent reports indicate that Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio have also recently re-signed, but Flair’s deal was in place before theirs were complete.

According to Fightful, Flair’s new deal includes a huge money increase and will see her become one of the highest-paid women in company history. Additionally, the deal includes a travel bus for Flair for when she is able to return to the road.

Charlotte Flair Out Of Action With Injury Suffered On WWE SmackDown

Unfortunately, Flair won’t be returning to the road any time soon. On the December 6th episode of SmackDown, Charlotte Flair suffered a knee injury and was helped to the back by referees after facing off against Asuka in singles action. She was later pulled from upcoming live events while she awaited evaluation.

After having her knee evaluated by medical professionals, WWE announced on December 15th that Flair would need surgery and would be out for at least nine months, meaning she’ll miss the upcoming Royal Rumble as well as WrestleMania 40.
