Leatherface Makes His AEW Debut In Insane Texas Chainsaw Massacre Deathmatch

Leatherface, the iconic horror character, made an unforgettable cameo appearance on the August 16 episode of AEW Dynamite.

During the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Deathmatch between Jeff Hardy and Jeff Jarrett, Leatherface descended upon the ring, creating a thrilling spectacle for the fans. The excitement escalated when Leatherface chased Karen Jarrett backstage with his infamous chainsaw, much to the delight of the crowd.

In the closing moments of the match, Jay Lethal delivered a powerful blow to Jeff Hardy with a hammer, leaving him vulnerable. Satnam Singh capitalized on the opportunity and executed a devastating chokeslam, further incapacitating Hardy.

Seizing the moment, Jarrett pinned Hardy, securing the victory and etching his name in history as the first person to win a Texas Chainsaw Massacre Deathmatch. However, the fate of Karen Jarrett remains uncertain after her encounter with Leatherface.

What Else Happened On AEW Dynamite?

Also on the August 16th Dynamite, Orange Cassidy defended his AEW International Championship against Wheeler Yuta, after the bout the Blackpool Combat Club, Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli attacked Cassidy, which brought out Best Friends who came to Cassidy’s aid.

The Lucha Brothers then came out to assist Best Friends. As Moxley and Castagnoli prepared for a second assault, a returning Eddie Kingston appeared and helped Best Friends and the Lucha Brothers send Moxley and Castagnoli packing.

Other matches that occurred include Darby Allin and Nick Wayne defeating Gates of Agony. Dr. Britt Baker DMD beat The Bunny in a qualifying match for a shot at the AEW Women’s Title at All In and The Young Bucks bested The Gunns in a tag match.
