Chris Jericho will make his DDT Pro-Wrestling debut in November.

In recent weeks, the Ocho has been embroiled in a feud with Konosuke Takeshita and the rest of the Don Callis family. Now, he plans to take the rivalry to Takeshita’s home promotion in Japan, DDT.

At the company’s September 24th show, Who’s Gonna TOP?, Takeshita got a hard-fought victory over MAO. Following the match, he introduced the audience to Don Callis before the pair were interrupted by a video message from Jericho.

After tearing a picture of Takeshita in half, Jericho challenged the star to a match at DDT Ultimate Party in November.

“Takeshita! Congratulations on your big victory tonight Takeshita. You looked good as always. Everybody says you’re one of the best pro wrestlers in the world, well Chris Jericho is one of the greatest of all time. And Takeshita, not once but twice in AEW you attacked me with the chair, with Don Callis, and I’m done!

“I will have revenge on you Takeshita. I have worked in Japan for over 30 years and you can ask Onita, you can ask Tenryu, Inoki-san, Chono, Okada, Naito, ask them all who one of the best to ever come to Japan is, it’s Chris Jericho.

“So at the Ultimate Party 2023, Ryugoku Sumo Arena, November 12th, it’s Takeshita vs. Chris Jericho, I challenge you Takeshita and I’m going to teach you a lesson. Takeshita, you are a bakayaro [stupid idiot], I’m gonna prove it on November 12th. See you there.”

Takeshita immediately accepted the challenge, claiming he will not only defeat Jericho, but “destroy everything about him.”

In more news of his globe-trotting, Chris Jericho recently made a shock appearance in Vietnam, surprising fans in the country’s only wrestling promotion.
