The Rock gave multiple Make-A-Wish kids a day that they will never forget.
21 children and their families had their wish to meet Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson fulfilled at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, California.
As the group took part in the studio tour, a familiar figure made his way to the tram to surprise the guests. Greeting the Make-A-Wish families, Johnson provided guest tour guide duties for the remainder of the attraction and made additional time to say hello to other groups taking part in the studio tour.
The charity, which has granted more than 900,000 wishes since being founded more than 40 years ago, has a special connection to the Hollywood star. Back in 1983, the WWE legend’s father, Rocky Johnson, granted the first wish in the New Jersey area, as was recounted by The Rock:
“This little boy named Bobby, I’ll never forget it, his last wish was to meet my dad. It puts it into perspective for you right away.”
When asked why Make-A-Wish was his charity of choice, Johnson said the following:
“These are kids. The cards they are dealt, they didn’t ask for it but they are playing these cards the best they can. These kids are so strong.”
Originally scheduled to spend an hour with the kids and their families, the former WWE Champion spent 5 and provided video games, hugs and photos.
The Today Show documented the visit and uploaded the clip to social media:

The Rock Addresses Presidential Rumours
As the report came to a close, Johnson was asked if he had any second thoughts about becoming the President of the United States. Being interviewed by the Today Show during the visit, the Hollywood star said the following:
“Here’s what I can tell you with 100% certainty and surety is that I believe in working hard controlling the controllables and putting in all the hard work with your own two hands, and being humble, hungry and grateful, kicking a– and always give back,” he said about possibly making a presidential run. “That’s what I can tell you. So it’s not a no.”
