The Rock Addresses A Future Run For US President; States What Is More Important Right Now

The Rock has not entirely ruled out going for the most powerful job in the United States of America.

In 2021, a poll was taken in the USA where 46% of those asked revealed that they would vote for the Hollywood star if he chose to run for office. Political representatives appeared to take notice, as The Rock would reveal in an interview that multiple political parties have approached him in regard to a future political campaign. Despite also revealing in the interview that there is a lot about politics that he hates, it appears the answer is not a no but a not right now.

While appearing on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, The Great One was once again asked about the opportunity to become the President. The WWE legend answered that it is a very real possibility in the future, but right now being a father is much more important:

I think down the road for sure. I’ve said this before I’m a proud girl Dad, I have a 22 year old I have a seven and I have a five. So they’re all age ranges and my 22 year old I like to say we grew up together. And at that time, I was wrestling full time 230 dates wrestling matches a year so it was always gone. And I know what that’s like to have an occupation that takes me away from being a daddy. And this time around with my 7 and my 5 year old. I want to be daddy and that’s the most important thing to me.

The Rock Invited Himself To SmackDown

A number of topics were brought up in the appearance including the live-action remake of Moana and the recent appearance on WWE SmackDown back in September. The Rock would discuss how he managed to orchestrate the surprise appearance, including who he called to inform the powers that be that he would be at the taping in Denver, Colorado.
