Is MJF Destined To Become The Next Arnold Schwarzenegger Or Sylvester Stallone?

Could MJF become the next breakout star in Hollywood?

While the Generational Talent is currently reigning at the top of the AEW roster and negotiating which promotion he will be wrestling for in 2024, his upcoming acting role is highly anticipated.

December 2023 will see the release of The Iron Claw, a biographical drama based on the Von Erich family. MJF stars in the upcoming title as Lance Von Erich and has been hotly tipped to star in multiple future projects.

As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, 25 names have been shortlisted as the next generation of action heroes, following in the footsteps of the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone. Among the list of familiar rising stars such as Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown and The Boys Jack Quaid is the World Champion:

Dwayne Johnson, John Cena and Dave Bautista have helped mark out a very well-trodden and star-studded path from wrestling ring to action film set. At 27, Friedman — better known MJF, the All Elite Wrestling champion whose seemingly naturally villainous and always entertaining ringside persona has seen him become a firm fan favorite as the so-called “People’s Scumbag” — could well be the next to make the journey and will soon be seen opposite Zac Efron in A24’s upcoming wrestling drama The Iron Claw.

MJF Hopes To Continue Record-Setting Reign

Very much focused on his time in All Elite Wrestling, The Devil is closing in on one whole year as the World Champion. Following the successful retention against Kenny Omega on the October 28th episode of Collision, MJF has now broken the all-time record within the company.

While attending The Iron Claw premiere, MJF was seen photographed with John Cena.
