Ric Flair Takes Shot At Top AEW Star

Ric Flair on the mic in AEW

Ric Flair has continued to take shots at AEW World Champion MJF.

On the October 25th edition of Dynamite, Ric Flair was revealed to be Tony Khan’s special gift to Sting. Then, on November 2nd, it was announced that Flair had signed a multi-year deal with the company that would also see his ‘WOOOOO Energy’ drink become the official energy drink of AEW.

Although he has joined the company to back Sting as the Icon heads to his final match at Revolution in 2024, Ric Flair has also set his sights on AEW World Champion MJF. In a recent interview, The Nature Boy claimed that he still “talks better than anybody” and called out Maxwell Jacob Friedman to go one-on-one with him on a microphone.

“I can still talk better than anybody. They’ll find out if they turn me loose. I’m dying to go one on one with MJF, man. It would get a rating too. ‘Let’s talk, young man.’”

Now, he has continued to take shots at the star through social media. The WWE Hall of Famer seemed to be pointing out that MJF has been trying to copy him by sharing a picture of the robe the star wore for his title match at Double or Nothing in 2022 alongside a shot of himself in one of the many robes he wore in his legendary career.

“Do I Have To Spell It Out For You…”

Will Ric Flair Wrestle In AEW?

Ric Flair has been vocal about wanting to return to the ring in the past, but given his health issues and age – the star will turn 75 in 2024 – many have questioned whether that would be a good idea.

Flair recently addressed the possibility himself, admitting that he doesn’t think he will, although the desire to is still there. Despite this, he has also “made it clear to everybody” that he can take bumps, meaning we could well see The Nature Boy get physical during his time in AEW.
