A new bout has been added to AEW WrestleDream. Wheeler Yuta will face off against Ricky Starks in a one-on-one showdown.
The match was set in motion when Yuta and Starks crossed paths after Starks’ intense match with Bryan Danielson at AEW Collision on September 23rd. Yuta wasted no time in seizing the opportunity to challenge Starks to a match at AEW WrestleDream in Seattle, Washington on October 1st.
Following this confrontation at Collision, it was announced during the September 27th episode of Dynamite that Tony Khan made the match between Starks and Yuta at WrestleDream official.

What Has Ricky Starks Been Doing In AEW Recently?
Ricky Starks has been embroiled in a feud with the Blackpool Combat Club in recent weeks and has had matches with Bryan Danielson at All Out and Collison. He also challenged CM Punk for the Real AEW World Title on the August 5th episode of Collision.
Starks has enjoyed success with AEW over the past year. He has wrestled some of AEW’s top talent including getting a win over Chris Jericho at Revolution on March 5th, he also won the Owen Hart Foundation tournament and was involved in segments with WWE Hall of Famer Ricky The Dragon Steamboat, where he whipped the legend with his own belt which led to Starks being suspended for his actions.
