AEW All In - Stadium Stampede Match Added To Line-Up

A Stadium Stampede match has been added to the highly anticipated AEW All In event.

The Blackpool Combat Club, a formidable force in the wrestling world, will join forces with three mystery partners to take on a formidable alliance consisting of Eddie Kingston, The Lucha Bros., Best Friends, and Orange Cassidy. This thrilling six-on-six match will take place at the iconic Wembley Stadium, amplifying the excitement surrounding the event.

The genesis of this epic confrontation can be traced back to the events that unfolded during the August 16th episode of Dynamite. Following Orange Cassidy’s successful defence of the AEW International title against Wheeler Yuta, the Blackpool Combat Club launched a surprise attack on Cassidy. The assault prompted the intervention of Best Friends, who rushed to Cassidy’s aid. Not long after, The Lucha Bros. entered the fray, escalating the tensions to new heights.

However, the most shocking moment came when Eddie Kingston, who had spent the past month competing in NJPW‘s G1 Climax tournament, made an unexpected return. With his arrival, Kingston sent shockwaves through the Blackpool Combat Club, issuing a direct challenge for the Stadium Stampede match.

Interestingly, Rey Fenix has been recently pulled from the All In card, meaning that he will either be replaced in the Stadium Stampede match, or the match will boil down to a ten-man affair instead of the scheduled twelve-man.

The Stadium Stampede match concept is not new to AEW. The first match of its kind took place in 2020, featuring members of The Elite and Matt Hardy facing off against The Inner Circle. The following year, another exhilarating Stadium Stampede match unfolded, pitting members of The Pinnacle against The Inner Circle.

As the date for AEW All In draws closer, anticipation runs high among fans and wrestling enthusiasts. The clash between the Blackpool Combat Club and their formidable adversaries promises to be a spectacle of epic proportions.

How Many Tickets Has AEW All In Sold?

At the time of writing All In has sold over 80,000 tickets for the pay-per-view event, this huge number means AEW All In has surpassed ticket sales of other legendary wrestling events such as WrestleMania III. In an interview ahead of the event, Tony Khan has revealed why Wembley Stadium was chosen over Craven Cottage.
