AEW All In Surpasses Legendary WWE Event

AEW All In

AEW All In has now out-sold WrestleMania III.

The monster event is set to take place at Wembley Stadium on August 27th and will be the first wrestling show to be held at the famous venue since SummerSlam 1992. Tickets for AEW’s debut in the United Kingdom have been selling at an incredible rate, and the show has now passed another significant landmark.

With sales now standing at over 78,000, the event has passed the real attendance of WrestleMania III which is much lower than the 90,000+ WWE officially claims. WrestleMania III was headlined by Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant, and home to the famous Intercontinental Title match between Ricky Steamboat and Macho Man Randy Savage.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer broke down All In’s progress.

“It passed Hogan-Andre. So, the last number I saw was in the 78,000s. I don’t think it’s at 79 yet. It was 78,000 and, like, 150 ish, yesterday. We’re in the 78,000 range. The next number that I guess would be the goal would be 79,127. So if we’re 600 to get there. That’s about another week, maybe a little less than a week. So that one will, that one will fall. And then the big one, which is the WrestleMania 32, and the Lando record, would probably be. I don’t know, you know, maybe last week. But there, those records are all going down. They will break those records. Unless something unforeseen happens, like all of a sudden nobody buys tickets at the end when they should be in town promoting it the hardest.”

What Matches Have Been Announced For AEW All In?

At time of writing only one match has been made official for the show, but there are two huge matches just waiting to be confirmed. In one of the show’s main events, MJF will defend his AEW World Championship against Adam Cole, in what will be only his sixth defence since winning the gold in November 2022.

Elsewhere, Samoa Joe has laid down a challenge to CM Punk just weeks after they met on AEW Collision, and FTR have got their eyes on a rematch with the Young Bucks.

Recently on the August 16th episode of Dynamite the third Stadium Stampede match was announced for All In.
