Bo Dallas Is Not Expected To Be Back On WWE TV

Bo Dallas looks unlikely to be making an onscreen WWE return.

Although Dallas has not had a match in WWE since 2019, it was heavily rumoured that he was the man behind the mask of the mysterious Uncle Howdy, who frequently appeared in the same segments as real-life brother Bray Wyatt. However, the storyline was dropped due to the tragic passing of Bray Wyatt at just 36 years old.

During a Q and A portion of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked if there are any updates on Dallas making any more appearances. Meltzer speculated that while could happen, it shouldn’t be expected:

I think he’s done. I mean, the only reason he was even being used was as a favour to Bray Wyatt. So I mean, it’s possible they’ll use him, but I don’t expect him to be back.

Bo Dallas Was Signed To WWE For Over 13 Years

First introduced to the fans in NXT, Dallas became the third-ever NXT Champion after defeating Big E in May 2013 before eventually losing the title to Adrian Neville. Dallas would get his main roster call-up in May 2014 and would be predominantly seen as part of comedy factions alongside Curtis Axel, such as The B Team and The Social Outcasts.

At Extreme Rules 2018, Dallas and Axel would win the Raw Tag Team Championships following a victory over Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt. They would eventually lose the titles to Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre shortly after The Scottish Warrior was called up to the main roster. Dallas was released from his contract in April 2021 as part of the many rounds of pandemic releases. Despite departing the company more than 2 years ago, the former NXT Champion has never made any appearances for other promotions.
