CM Punk Reported To Originally Face Ricky Starks At AEW All Out

CM Punk on AEW Collision.

CM Punk being suspended from AEW likely had a ripple effect throughout the week of All Out.

Fightful Select has shared additional information when it comes to the CM Punk situation as he was notably seen and honored at the Cauliflower Alley Club Wednesday in Las Vegas. However, if Punk’s suspension stands through All Out, the star to feel the effects of such is reportedly Ricky Starks.

According to Fightful, Starks was slated to be Punk’s opponent for Sunday’s PPV and with the “Real” AEW World Champion’s status in limbo, that could shuffle Starks off All Out all together. Starks has been working the Kayfabe angle that he’s been suspended for 30 days, but it would have played into Starks’ and Punk’s feud over the summer and Ricky Starks vs. CM Punk would have likely been the main event for the PPV..

Further Clarity The CM Punk Situation At AEW All In

The same report from Fightful did give clarity on the transportation situation AEW had while in London. CM Punk was notoriously not picked up from the airport upon his arrival and that could be said for a lot of the talent, however, not all of them. Dependent on the time of arrival, talent may have been picked up, but were also told that they’d be reimbursed if they had to utilize rideshare.

Another topic of note was a reported incident between CM Punk and Miro which ultimately shouldn’t have been labeled as one as their discourse was largely in jest and Punk believes him and Miro are on good terms.

In a new update, the likelihood of Punk still making an appearance at All Out is unlikely.
