WWE Crown Jewel 2023 Update; Top Executives Expected To Attend

WWE Crown Jewel 2023

Top WWE executives are expected to be in attendance for Crown Jewel.

Crown Jewel is set to emanate from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 4th, and like past iterations of the event, it’s set to be a blockbuster spectacle. Not only will Roman Reigns defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against rising megastar LA Knight, John Cena will be in singles action against Roman’s fellow Bloodline member Solo Sikoa.

For the first time since WWE began its partnership with Saudi Arabia, Brock Lesnar will not be in attendance at Crown Jewel.

Will Vince McMahon Be At WWE Crown Jewel?

According to a new report from PWInsider, Executive Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon is expected to be in attendance in Riyadh, and some sources believe that Ari Emanuel will be present as well.

The report notes that most WWE staff and roster members will be leaving for Saudi Arabia on November 2nd. John Cena, however, is already in Riyadh as he traveled further in advance.

Continuing, the report states that there will be promotion of an upcoming one-of-a-kind exhibit that is set to open in Riyadh in 2024. Mike Johnson writes:

“There will not be a Press Conference event on Friday before the PPV. We are told that talents will be utilized locally to promote the forthcoming opening of the WWE Experience that was previously announced for Riyadh, which will feature a WWE store, a dark ride, and other immersive experiences. So WWE stars will be doing appearances to promote that permanent attraction, the first of its kind for WWE. I believe the WWE Experience opens in early 2024 officially and is slated to be in a 40,000 square foot building.

My gut is we’ll see promotion for it on the Crown Jewel PPV and that if we ever see some sort of physical WWE Hall of Fame attraction, this would likely be the template.”
