Jim Ross Comments On Recent AEW Departure: “He’s Got A Lot Of Potential”

Jim Ross

Jim Ross gave his thoughts on one of the most recent stars to exit All Elite Wrestling.

Earlier this month, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Brock Anderson’s profile had been removed from the AEW roster page. It was soon reported that Anderson had parted ways with AEW as after two years with the company, his contract was not renewed.

Anderson confirmed his AEW departure in a post on social media, writing:

“To those that’ve supported me and helped me THANK YOU. To my detractors, that’s your right to an opinion. All I can do, to quote @dustinrhodes is, “Keep Steppin”. On to the next chapter… #prowrestling”

“Brock Will Be Fine” – Jim Ross On Brock Anderson’s Post-AEW Future

WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW announcer Jim Ross addressed Brock Anderson’s exit on a recent edition of Grilling JR. When co-host Conrad Thompson said he hoped this wasn’t the end of Anderson’s career in wrestling, Ross agreed, saying:

“I don’t either. He’s got a lot of potential, good upside. Good kid. He’s been under his dad’s learning tree, which is always good because his dad is a great teacher, great coach, great motivator. So Brock will be fine. Somebody will pick him up. He’s got a lot of ability, lot of potential, so we wish him nothing but the best. I’m dear friends with his father, so I’m pulling for Brock and his dad. So we’ll see how it works out. It should be an interesting time probably for that family.”
