MJF Recreates Iconic Bret Hart Promo During AEW Grand Slam

MJF parodied an iconic Bret Hart promo on the AEW Dynamite Grand Slam show prior to his World Title match with Samoa Joe.

Fans witnessed an intense battle for the AEW World Title between MJF and Samoa Joe. Before the match, a parody video paying homage to wrestling legend Bret Hart was shown. The video recreated a memorable moment from 1995 when Bret Hart gave a young fan his sunglasses in a hallway. In this rendition, MJF took on the role of the Hart, offering a young fan his scarf. However, the twist came when he whispered to the young fan that he was adopted. The boy then turned to his father and asked “Dad I’m adopted?”

The match itself was a hard-fought battle between the two athletes. In the end, MJF managed to outsmart and outmanoeuvre Samoa Joe, securing a hard-fought victory and retaining his world title.
