Randy Orton Fined $100,000 By WWE Management

At Survivor Series: WarGames Randy Orton returned to WWE after an 18-month absence and wasted little time reminding everyone just how deadly the RKO is.

At WWE’s last PLE of the year he made his long-awaited comeback in the main event, he delivered the devastating move to all of Judgment Day, which helped lead to his team to victory.

In the following episode of Raw, the Viper faced Dominik Mysterio and took him out with his trusted finishing move. Then on his first WWE SmackDown appearance in over a year, Orton dropped Jimmy Uso with his move before officially signing for the blue brand and giving Nick Aldis his first-ever taste of the RKO. But while the fans loved to see Orton taking out the newly appointed authority figure, it came at a hefty cost to the Apex Predator.

How much did WWE management fine Randy Orton?

Following the “out of nowhere” attack Orton entered the SmackDown General Manager’s office to be informed he had to cough up a whopping $50’000 for putting his hand on a WWE official.

Upon receiving the news, the 14-time World Champion cheekily produced a check for double the amount. When questioned about the excessive amount, Orton told Aldis that he was paying for the RKO he had already taken and the other one he would undoubtedly get in the future.

Since returning to WWE, Orton has focused on those who put him on the shelf, the Bloodline. Therefore, Orton committed his services to SmackDown to get revenge on the faction and its leader Roman Reigns. The family, led by the Tribal Chief, orchestrated the attack that took the Viper out of action in 2022.
