Jimmy Uso Hilariously Sells RKO After WWE SmackDown Goes Off-Air

Randy Orton delivers an RKO to Jimmy Uso on WWE SmackDown

In his first WWE SmackDown appearance in over 18 months, Randy Orton delivered an RKO to Jimmy Uso, which left the Bloodline member out for the count.

The entire show focused on Orton’s return and, which brand he was going to sign for. Both SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce were on hand vying for Orton’s signature to secure his services on their respective brand.

As the Bloodline are responsible for Orton’s lengthy absence, it became increasingly clear the Viper favoured the blue brand for a spot of revenge. After confirming he has Roman Reigns firmly in his sights, the Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso attacked.

The two-on-one assault was broken up by another enemy of the Bloodline, LA Knight. After evening out the odds Uso was left alone in the ring with Orton. The former Unified Tag Team Champion was then planted with a rope assisted DDT before receiving an RKO, which he sold for a very long time.

Jimmy Uso sold the effects of Randy Orton’s RKO long after SmackDown went off the air

As the episode came to an end Orton etched his signature on the SmackDown contract, cementing his place on the blue brand. A jubilant Nick Aldis entered the ring to celebrate before getting his first taste of the RKO. The show went off the air with Orton as the last man standing.

With the show over for television viewers, those in attendance were treated to an epic sell from Jimmy Uso. As WWE crew members surrounded the ring to begin the preparations for the post-show dark matches, Uso remained motionless in the ring, continuing to sell the RKO.

A video of Uso’s extended RKO sell surfaced online showing him laid out in the ring before a referee rolled him out and into the arms of a crew member. The ring crew staff then held onto Jimmy until the ring was cleared, before placing him back in the ring. It is unknown just how long Uso continued to hilariously show the effects of the RKO.

In regards to Randy Orton, new information has been provided in terms of his WWE contract.
