MJF To Defend AEW World Championship At Worlds End

The upcoming Worlds End pay-per-view will witness an intense battle for the AEW World Championship.

The reigning champion, MJF, is set to defend his title against none other than Samoa Joe on December 30th at Worlds End. The stage was set for this epic clash during Wednesday’s Dynamite episode when Joe boldly confronted MJF and Adam Cole in the ring. The confrontation revolved around a deal struck between MJF and Joe, wherein MJF had promised Joe a title shot. Initially, he hesitated to honour his end of the agreement, but Cole reminded him that the new MJF was a man of his word.

MJF finally agreed to grant Joe the long-awaited opportunity tonight, on Dynamite. However, Joe refused, asserting that he would wait until Worlds End, ensuring MJF was at his absolute best. Joe went on to declare that he considered MJF his property and vowed to protect his investment until the monumental event.

This clash between MJF and Samoa Joe is bound to be an exciting matchup. Both competitors possess great wrestling ability, making it a clash of titans that fans won’t want to miss.

When discussing the upcoming pay-per-view, Tony Khan revealed how Tottenham Hotspur was a part of the inspiration behind the AEW name.
