Roxanne Perez names Becky Lynch and Bayley as her two favourite Horsewomen.
Perez has a lot of respect for the former and current NXT Women’s Champion and is wishing into existence the biggest match of her career.
Speaking with Booker T on 5 Minutes of Fame, Perez was asked about competing at WrestleMania one day and who would she like to face. The former champion recalled meeting Becky Lynch and Bayley as a child and wants to have that dream match one day on the biggest stage possible:
“WrestleMania dream match? Probably either Bayley or Becky. There are my two favorite Four Horsewomen growing up, so I think that that would be super full circle. I met them both as a kid, like as a wrestling fan, and to work with them now is really, really crazy. Like I said, it just goes to show, you just put in the work and keep grinding and keep putting things into existence, and it’s all possible.”
Perez won the NXT Women’s Championship by defeating Mandy Rose on weekly TV, with Mandy Rose released from WWE 1 day later.
Roxanne Perez To Face Record-Setting NXT Women’s Champion
Perez will be in action on the October 10th episode of NXT, which has been loaded with main roster stars including John Cena, Cody Rhodes and even a tease of an appearance by The Undertaker.
Competing on the show, Perez will be in action against the Superstar who held the title for the longest, Asuka. Reigning for 510 days, The Empress’ record for longest singular reign is still yet to be broken.
