This week on WWE Raw featured a WarGames Advantage Match, Drew McIntyre explaining his actions and more.

The final Raw before Survivor Series took place at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan with Michael Cole and Wade Barrett on commentary.

Drew McIntyre started off with a promo talking about his attack on Jey Uso last week to set up his heel turn. Drew said it was payback for Jey and The Bloodline costing him the Universal Title at Clash at the Castle. Drew said he never got an apology. The fans were booing Drew throughout his promo. Drew said he didn’t join The Judgment Day, but he is teaming with them at WarGames so he can get his hands on Jey Uso inside the cage. Jey Uso interrupted Drew’s promo ready to attack, but The Judgment Day backed up Drew. Jey’s WarGames partners Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes & Sami Zayn backed him up too.

Raw GM Adam Pearce got in the ring before there was a fight. Pearce said Drew is on The Judgment Day’s WarGames team so he needed to know who is on the Cody/Seth team by the end of Raw. Pearce also said that the teams can’t touch before the WarGames Advantage match later in the show. The teams left without any physical confrontation.

Match #1: Nia Jax defeated Raquel Rodriguez by pinfall. Raquel tried hitting her Powerbomb out of the corner, but Jax was too heavy and Jax landed on top. Jax hit the Annihilator splash off the middle turnbuckle for the pinfall win.

The Judgment Day were backstage with Drew McIntyre arriving for a chat. Drew and Damian Priest spoke with Rhea Ripley with both guys wanting to be in the WarGames Advantage Match. Drew said he didn’t like any of them, but he despised Jey Uso. Priest and Drew argued a bit, so Priest said that if Drew wanted the match, it was Drew’s match to have. Drew said that’s leadership. Priest told Rhea that Drew better get them the advantage.

A video was shown about how the Women’s WarGames match was set up on last week’s SmackDown episode.

The WarGames team of Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn & Cody Rhodes talked in a locker room about their WarGames Advantage match. Rollins wanted it, but Jey was adamant about getting his hands on Drew McIntyre, so Rollins said Jey could have it. They talked about the fifth member with possible options from Smackdown. Cody said that he had an old friend he thinks he can call who can come through for them.

Match #2:Becky Lynch defeated Xia Li by pinfall. Lynch won clean with a Mahandle Slam.

After the match, Damage CTRL (Bayley, IYO SKY, Asuka & Kairi Sane) tried to attack Lynch, but Becky was saved by Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair & Shotzi. There was a wild brawl between the two Women’s WarGames teams.

Match #3: Johnny Gargano defeated Ludwig Kaiser by pinfall. Gargano won with the One Final Beat.

There was some locker room trash-talking between Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and Zoey Stark, who had Shayna Baszler with her. Stark claimed she would win the title at Survivor Series while Ripley felt that she would keep her title.

Match #4: Natalya & Tegan Nox won a Fatal 4-Way match with Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter and Maxxine Dupri & Ivy Nile. Nox countered a Maxxine cross body block for the pinfall win.

The win means that Natalya & Nox will get a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match against champions Chelsea Green & Piper Niven.

There was an in-ring Face-to-Face discussion between Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER and his Survivor Series opponent The Miz. Gunther said he didn’t respect The Miz, which led to The Miz talking about his nearly 20-year WWE career and he’ll make Gunther respect him. Gunther said Miz was a weirdo who was bullied and said that the fans were weak like Little Mike (The Miz). They exchanged some strikes, The Miz hit a low blow and The Miz hit a Skull Crushing Finale to drop the champion. The Miz stood tall.

Match #5: Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Chad Gable by pinfall. Nakamura didn’t win with a Kinshasa knee strike. Instead, Nakamura won with a rollup and sat on top of Gable to win.

Cody Rhodes assured Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn that they have themselves a fifth WarGames partner. Cody: “He’s in.”

Match #6: Drew McIntyre defeated Jey Uso by pinfall in the WarGames Advantage match. Drew hit a Future Shock DDT for the pinfall win instead of using a Claymore Kick.

The WarGames Advantage means that after two wrestlers start, The Judgment Day team will have the next man in for a 2 on 1, 3 on 2, 4 on 3 and 5 on 4 situation before all ten wrestlers are in the match.

After the match, The Judgment Day and Drew attacked Jey, but Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn made the save with steel chairs.

Cody Rhodes did a promo saying that they are not alone. Cody said that it was somebody that he “had a legacy with.” The fans cheered. Cody said that with them is the Apex Predator. Cody said that the fans knew who it was too. There were “Randy” chants for Randy Orton. Cody referenced Orton again saying you’re not just hearing voices in your head because these people are right. That was the end of Raw.

On social media after the show, WWE confirmed that Randy Orton is teaming up with Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso & Seth “Freakin” Rollins in the WarGames Match at Survivor Series.
