Exclusive: Paul London Unloads On Jimmy Uso Over DUI Record

Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa

Jimmy Uso might be involved in one of the biggest wrestling storylines going, but former WWE Superstar Paul London won’t be watching.

Alongside his brother Jey, Jimmy Uso has been part of the WWE system since 2009. The pair initially performed with developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling before moving to the main roster a year later.

The pair went on to establish themselves as one of the most decorated tag teams in modern WWE, and currently hold the record for the longest Tag Team Title reign in WWE history.

However, it wasn’t until the storyline with Roman Reigns as part of The Bloodline began in 2020 that their careers hit a whole new level. Since then both Jimmy and Jey have been praised far and wide for their performances, in the ring and on the microphone.

However, speaking in an exclusive new interview with Nick Hausman for Inside The Ropes, former WWE Superstar Paul London explained why he can’t get behind the pair, pointing to Jimmy’s multiple DUI-related arrests.

London’s older brother Daniel was killed by a drunk driver back in 1996.

“I mean, I’ve heard of that storyline. I’m not an Usos fan. Personally, because I don’t know who, but one of them is a f*cking idiot. Drunk driver, dumb f*ck. And I’ll make no secret about that. I think anybody who has not just one, but multiple drunk driving infractions is a f*cking idiot.

So when they get rewarded it, it turns me off even more. Right? You can call it whatever it is, nepotism or whatever, but I have zero interest in supporting any of that. So good luck to him.”

The Texan star made his wrestling debut in 2000, heading out onto the independent scene, featuring for the likes of IMPACT Wrestling and Ring of Honor. London signed with WWE in 2003 and stayed with the company for five years. During this period he won the Tag Team Titles three times as well as Cruiserweight gold.

Jimmy Uso Out Of Action

At WWE Money In The Bank Jimmy and Jey Uso overcame Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa and set The Bloodline further into chaos. On the following edition of SmackDown, the pair tried to put Reigns on trial, but the segment ended in a wild brawl and Jey was forced to watch as Jimmy was completely decimated by Reigns and Sikoa.

On July 14th it was announced that Jimmy will be out of action for the “foreseeable future.” It’s believed that Jey will challenge Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at SummerSlam.
