Jimmy Uso Out Of Action For “The Foreseeable Future”

Jimmy Uso attacked by Solo Sikoa

According to WWE, Jimmy Uso won’t be back on television any time soon.

Fresh off the back of teaming with his brother Jey to defeat Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at Money In The Bank, Jimmy was on the end of a vicious beatdown on the July 7th episode of SmackDown.

The Usos had attempted to put Reigns on trial, but despite teasing that he was ready to walk away, the Tribal Chief attacked his cousins with Solo Sikoa joining in the destruction. Jey was forced to watch as Jimmy was badly beaten with the steel stairs and eventually driven through the announce table.

The star was taken away to the hospital, accompanied by Jey, only for the latter to return to the show to confront Reigns and demand a match.

A week on the ramifications of the brawl were still being felt, but Jimmy Uso was nowhere to be seen.

Following a rundown of the segment, Michael Cole announced that Jimmy had “ruptured his rib cartilage” and would be out of action for the “foreseeable future.”

Jimmy Uso Might Be Gone, But Jey Uso Fights On

On the July 14th episode of SmackDown, the drama between Reigns and Jey Uso continued, even though the Tribal Chief wasn’t on the show.

Jey came to the ring and addressed the chaos the previous week, outlining his close bond with his brother, before vowing to disrespect Reigns. This brought out Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa. Heyman said he was there to enforce peace and that Reigns would be back on July 21st to meet Jey to discuss the “Rules of Engagement.”

The Special Counsel then went on to blame Jey for what happened to Jimmy and Sikoa said he could never forgive Jey for what happened.

This sparked another brawl with Jey eventually managing to land a Superkick on Heyman. Jey ended up left in the ring with Heyman and a steel chair but was interrupted by Sikoa before he could use it on the former ECW boss, instead hitting The Enforcer.

The segment ended with Sikoa and Heyman escaping up the ramp.
