“I’m Out Of WWE” – Jey Uso

Jey Uso quits SmackDown

Jey Uso is done with WWE, or at least he is according to the man himself.

On SmackDown, Roman Reigns took centre stage in the main event segment flanked by Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman. He began by asking where Jimmy Uso was, but no one knew. Although they didn’t have to wait long to find out, Jimmy arrived in an understated style.

After Reigns said Jimmy could have anything he wanted, Jimmy said what he did at SummerSlam didn’t have anything to do with Reigns, and this brought out Jey. ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso demanded to know why Jimmy turned on him at SummerSlam, but his brother said he did it out of love and wanting to make sure Jey didn’t become a corrupt Tribal Chief like Reigns.

Jimmy said that if Jey wanted to hit him with a Superkick he could, and he waited for the kick, but it never came. Jey turned his back on Jimmy and the latter walked out, but he didn’t get very far.

Reigns took the opportunity to revel in the chaos and told Jey to acknowledge him, instead, Jey hit him with a Superkick. Jey then fought off Sikoa before countering a Spear from Reigns, hitting the Undisputed Universal WWE Champion with a Spear of his own.

At this, he called Jimmy back down the ramp, and the crowd buzzed at the prospect of a reconciliation. Jimmy even opened his arms to embrace his brother, but he was met with a Superkick.

As the show went off the air, Jey said into the camera that he was out of The Bloodline, out of SmackDown, and out of WWE.

Jey Uso Vs. Jimmy Uso At WrestleMania 40?

Following the chaos at SummerSlam, it was reported that one member of WWE’s creative team is pushing for Jey Uso to face Jimmy at WrestleMania 40. Despite this urging from the unnamed backstage figure, the match is unlikely to take place at the spectacular in Philadelphia. The prevailing feeling is that 35 weeks is just too long to stretch out the storyline between the brothers.
