John Cena Vs. Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa Handicap Match Confirmed For WWE Fastlane

John Cena match confirmed for WWE Fastlane

On the recent episode of WWE Raw, it was officially announced that John Cena will go head-to-head against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in a handicap match.

Originally, John Cena was scheduled to team up with AJ Styles in this showdown at Fastlane. However, fate had a different plan as AJ Styles fell victim to a brutal attack by Sikoa and Uso on the September 22nd episode of SmackDown. The assault resulted in Styles being rushed to the hospital, unable to sign the contract for the match. This unforeseen turn of events left Cena without a partner for the Fastlane premium live event.

This match holds great significance for Cena, as it marks his first appearance in a non-WrestleMania/SummerSlam premium live event since 2018. Back then, Cena teamed up with Bobby Lashley to take on Kevin Owens and Elias at WWE Super Showdown.

Fastlane will take place on October 7th in the city of Indianapolis. The event will not only feature the clash between Cena, Uso, and Sikoa but also showcase other matches which are yet to be confirmed. One match that is confirmed is Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

When Was John Cena’s Last WWE Match?

John Cena last wrestled for the WWE at WrestleMania 39 when he took on Austin Theory for the United States title in a match that Theory would go on to win. Prior to this match earlier in the year, Cena had not been seen in a WWE ring since 2022.
