This week on SmackDown saw AJ Styles face Jimmy Uso while Charlotte Flair & Shotzi teamed up against Damage CTRL.

SmackDown took place at the TD Garden in Boston with Michael Cole, Corey Graves & Kevin Patrick on commentary.

Match #1:Charlotte Flair & Shotzi defeated Damage CTRL’s Bayley & IYO SKY. – Bayley was distracted by Asuka at ringside, so Flair kicked both opponents with a big boot and Shotzi hit a DDT on Bayley for the pinfall win.

After the match, Asuka went into the ring with the WWE Women’s Title and had a staredown with champion IYO SKY.

Jimmy Uso talked to Paul Heyman backstage about how Jimmy wants to be in The Bloodline again, but Heyman wasn’t so sure about it. Heyman walked up to AJ Styles, words were exchanged and Jimmy attacked Styles from behind. Jimmy told Heyman that he handled the AJ Styles business while Heyman called Roman Reigns on his face.

Damage CTRL was interviewed with IYO SKY saying she was ready to defend her WWE Women’s Title against Asuka.

LA Knight was cheered heavily for his entrance leading to a promo in the ring. Knight mocked The Miz for his “fight” with invisible John Cena on Raw. Knight spoke about how he beat Miz at Payback and didn’t need Cena’s help to do it. Grayson Waller & Austin Theory interrupted with some harsh words for Knight. Waller claimed his team with Theory could become the best team of all time. It led to Knight challenging Theory to a match, which was obvious since Theory was in his wrestling gear while Waller was not.

Match #2: LA Knight defeated Austin Theory. – Grayson Waller exposed a turnbuckle to help Theory, but Knight managed to avoid it. Knight hit BFT for the pinfall win.

AJ Styles did an interview making it clear that he would be fine for the main event match.

Paul Heyman wanted WWE Official Adam Pearce to tell him who will get moved to Smackdown since Jey Uso was sent to Raw. Pearce said it’s for people above him to decide. LA Knight complained about Miz, so Pearce put Knight in a match against Miz next week. Heyman “introduced” himself to Knight saying if Heyman is in a room like that, don’t interrupt. Knight replied with a “yeah” to show that he understood.

Match #3: The Judgment Day – Damian Priest & Finn Balor (w/Dominik Mysterio defeated The Brawling Brutes – Ridge Holland & Butch. – The Judgment Day won this non-title match when Priest hit South of Heaven Chokeslams on both opponents and Balor got the win with a Coup de Grace double foot stomp.

After the match, Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits confronted The Judgment Day. Lashley said they were right about The Bloodline crumbling, but it won’t be The Judgment Day taking over because it will be them. There is still no name for Lashley’s group.

Backstage, AJ Styles yelled at The OC’s Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows & Michin about how Styles was attacked earlier by Jimmy Uso, but nobody was there to help him. Styles didn’t want them at ringside for his match.

Match #4:AJ Styles defeated Jimmy Uso by pinfall. – Solo Sikoa & Paul Heyman watched the match from ringside. Solo didn’t help Jimmy even though Jimmy wanted him. Styles kicked Solo to knock him down and Styles finished on Jimmy after that with a Phenomenal Forearm for the win.

AJ Styles left the ring after the match, but was attacked by Damian Priest & Finn Balor. They threw Styles into the ring and Solo hit Styles with a Samoan Spike to end the show.
